for a list of all classes that you are eligible to take. Print that list and highlight classes that you may be interested in.
Find out if the classes you want are open.
How to search for open classes:
Go to MDC’s registration website:
Register for Classes
Click on
Search for Classes
Using the drop down menu, indicate the term you’re looking for, and the campus. Then type in the course abbreviation/number
As you search for classes, pay close attention to the dates, times and days
Provide your counselor the course information for each class you’d like to take
Your counselor will get the forms you need approved and give them to you to take to Miami Dade (may take up to a week)
You will need to fill out a

Take the forms, a picture ID (student and parent) and a copy of your FCAT scores to Miami Dade (
room 3135
)
Hours:
Monday – Thursday 8am – 7pm
Friday 8am – 4:30pm
You will need to take the
PERT exam
– allow ample time (approximately 2 hours) to do this. No appointment is necessary.
PERT Testing Information
